I purchased my Google Nest last year, but only recently had it installed by a friend who’s an electrician. The setup took less than 20 minutes, though pairing it with the app was a bit tricky. Once we figured it out, I was able to control all my Google Home devices—cameras, doorbell, and thermostat—from one app. Super convenient! Even better, my power company offered a $40 rebate, so the Nest ended up costing me around $60. A smart investment. The scheduled temperature settings have already made a noticeable difference on my first energy bill since the installation. It’s only been a little over a month, but I’m really glad I finally got it up and running.
