I wasn't sure what to expect given the hype about this chair, so I was pleasantly surprised! Assembly is fast and easy and the final product is comfortable and sturdy. I like to sit in a variety of positions (none of which involve both feet on the ground) and this chair is wide enough to accommodate that . The backrest is at a good angle and has sufficient give to not feel constraining. I opted for the version with the boucle fabric and it's nice and soft but strong enough to withhold cats pawing at it. The price is a little daunting, but I feel that the product is well worth the cost.
I am a size 14 and this chair could almost hold 2 of me (sitting in a traditional stance with both feet on the floor).

Love it! Mostly....
I'm a life-long fidgety cross-legged sitter and am delighted by the popularity wave of cross-legged chairs. This one is lovely, and initially relatively comfortable, but as I'm coming on the 1-year anniversary of said chair I find myself searching for a cushion for it. That's actually how I realized it had been a year...I looked at my old orders to get the seat width.I use this as my office chair, and maybe for someone who doesn't spend eight hours a day in it, the original cushion would probably hold up longer. (Heck, if you're 20-years younger you might not notice it either...but this old lady does ;) )Finding a cushion for it is take a bit of work too, as most gel and memory foam cushions are made for people who sit normally in regular sized office chairs. But I'm hopeful! Actually just started looking a wheelchair cushions and I think I might have a solution to try.However I would buy the chair again as I doubt any of the other varieties have any better or long-lasting cushions, and this one best met all my criteria...seat width, wheels, back height, and looks great in my office.

Classier than your average office chair

I love this chair, it was relatively easy to set up, you just need to work out which screws are which and the only tricky bit was adding the back, if you are doing it single handed, but I just rested it upside down on another chair and it was easy enough. It is comfy, really wide and swivels really smoothly. I wanted to use it as a computer desk chair but did not want anything like an office chair or gamers chair, both of which are probably quite practical but are not visually appealing…this chair just looks a bit classier. The height is easily adjustable, it is well padded, and I can sit on it for hours without discomfort. Although the backrest is not very high, and it does not have a headrest you can lean back and still feel supported. It does not have armrests, but I am not too bothered about that, and they would detract from the overall appearance for me. Upon closer examination it looks to be well made, and the stitching appears to be of a reasonable quality. I enclose a few pics just to give a better idea.
