How to Measure your Window
1. Measure the Width of the window frame. (A to B)
2. Measure the Length of the window frame. (C to D)
3. Measure the Length from the top of the window frame to the floor. (E to F)
Determining Proper Width
When measuring the width of your window (A to B), be sure to consider whether you are hanging your curtain hardware on the inside or outside of the window trim. If you are aiming for a fuller, gathered look, make sure to multiply your measurement by 2.5x.
Determining Proper Length
Consider the look you want to achieve and where you want the bottom of your curtains to fall. Panels are usually hung so they fall anywhere from the window sill (C to D) or to the floor (E to F). Typically, panels are hung 4 inches above the window frame.
Helpful Tips:
Consider pooling your drapes for a more dramatic effect, this means your drapes will gather on the floor. If you have baseboard heating, consider whether you want to cover or have curtains end just above the baseboard.

Great curtains
I purchased these curtains to hang in my guest bedroom and because I have a big window and I'm not ready to turn in my heater. The color is a rich pretty blue which i really like. Any colors will match with this blue. I put the gold tables against the blue and it works great. The curtain has two options for hanging. I did not hang the way it's advertise because it drooped to much in-between the seams. I do like the option I chose even though I wanted the other option. Not sure how it's going to keep the chill from the window but it seems warmer already. I really like these and do plan on ordering a gray pair for the bedroom.

Darkness, they promised. Light, they let in. Blackout curtains, these are not. Disappointed, I am. Sleep, impossible it is, with these curtains that pretend. Like Jedi robes with holes, they are. No peace, only frustration, they bring.
Called 'blackout,' they should be 'half-light.' No escape from sunbeams, I find. The Force of Darkness, these curtains lack. Swayed to the Light Side, they have been. Buyer, fooled, he feels.
Attached they are, yet light floods the room. Shrouded in darkness, I am not. Struggling to sleep, I am instead.
Tried have I, to meditate. Clear my mind, I must. But peeking through the curtains, the sun does. Disturbed, I become. Restful slumber, far, far away it is.
Complaint, I have. Return them, I shall. Beware the false promises, we must. Blockout curtains, they are not. Deceptive they are, like the Dark Side of the Force.
