My fiancé makes cooking videos for Instagram - @baroqueplates - and this is the only ring light he will use! No others adjust in all of the ways he needs to get the perfect angle, only this one. We had the last one for over a year and a half, maybe even 2 years, and after HEAVY use a small piece of plastic broke during a rough/quick adjustment - considering how often he uses it, and the fact that it is near the stove, constantly pushed around the counter, and with hands covered in oil or food, it’s pretty awesome that it lasted as long as it did! Rather than just supergluing it, I ordered a second one since it’s very reasonably priced and I didn’t want him to have to worry about it. I was really happy to see that they replaced the bottom of the stand with hard plastic, as it was a kinda foam material before that couldn’t be easily wiped. So this seller is clearly updating and improving their item over time! It’s the perfect size, light and color options are great, and easy to control. Highly recommend!

Pros:

My problem with this product is that I got it March 6 and recorded the first part of the bigger video, and obviously it's working. The next day was my sister's birthday so I wanted to use it to record myself baking a cake... I plugged it in and it worked for about 5 minutes and then it just turned off. I tried changing the outlet thinking maybe the wall outlet is faulty... But when I unplugged it, the light on the remote was still on which was my first indication that the product itself is faulty.
Tried a different outlet and it still didn't work at all. Left it for a few days, and tried it today... Still not working but a bit of light flickers when I press and hold down the remote on button. Automatically shuts off when I remove my finger.
This is really disappointing because it's not cheap, and obviously it was bought for a purpose.
