The larger strip light plugs have the room they need with room to spare! Plus the ledge on top even allows my portable devices to charge without being trampled on or taking up unnecessary room. Mountable surge protector means no worries on coming off the wall. Highly recommend!

Because I want, and I need to protect my equipment from surges, I opened one up to be sure of what I purchased, and found ZERO surge protection. The plugs are directly wired, white-green-black- to the female outlets with ZERO protection. This is false advertising, the item will not protect against surges, the unit will split power to multi-outlets but will not provide surge protection. If this was a genuine surge protector, those incoming power leads from the male plug would first go into circuitry that halts surges and then be distributed to the female outlets.
