Frequently Asked Questions

The first time you power on Beats Studio Pro, pairing mode is automatically enabled. On iPhone running the latest iOS, simply hold the headphones near an unlocked phone, and follow on-screen instructions. Or, go to the Bluetooth menu and select “Beats Studio Pro”.
How do I pair with my Mac?
If you have previously paired with an iPhone and the Mac is connected to the same iCloud account, your Beats Studio Pro will automatically pair with your Mac. Simply, select your headphones as the sound output in the Control Center or Apple menu > System Settings > Sound. If the Mac is not connected to your iCloud account, make sure that you turned on Bluetooth on your Mac. Hold your Beats Studio Pro next to your Mac. Press and hold the System button on the right ear cup until the Fuel Gauge LEDs start to flash. Open the Bluetooth menu on your Mac, and choose “Beats Studio Pro”.
How do I pair with my Android device?
The first time you power on Beats Studio Pro, pairing mode is automatically enabled. To pair using Google Fast Pair, an on-screen, one-touch pairing prompt will appear on your Android device. For older Android devices, or to pair manually, use the Beats app or pair in the Bluetooth menu by selecting “Beats Studio Pro”. To download the Beats app, visit the Google Play store or download directly from beatsbydre.com.
How do I initiate pairing mode again to pair with other devices?
If you need to initiate pairing mode again, hold down the System button on the right ear cup until the Fuel Gauge LEDs begin to flash. Beats Studio Pro is now ready to pair.
How do I charge them?
To charge your Beats Studio Pro, connect the headphones to a power source using the included USB-C cable. (Note: USB-C power adapter sold separately). The Fuel Gauge LEDs will illuminate while the headphone is charging.
How do I check the battery life?
To check the battery life, simply press the System button on the right ear cup once. The Fuel Gauge LEDs will display the level of charge remaining.
How long does the battery last?
Beats Studio Pro can provide up to 40 hours of listening time with ANC or Transparency turned off, or up to 24 hours of listening time with ANC turned on.
How do I change modes from ANC to Transparency?
To toggle between listening modes, simply press the system button twice. Beats Studio Pro will rotate between ANC and Transparency.
How do I turn them on and off?
Turn on Beats Studio Pro by holding down the System button until the Fuel Gauge LEDs illuminate. To turn the headphones off, hold down the same System button until the Fuel Gauge LEDs shut off.
How do I activate Siri?
On Apple devices, you can activate Siri hands-free just by saying “Hey Siri”. Or, hold down the ‘b’ button and wait for the chime.
How do I activate other voice assistants?
Hold down the ‘b’ button to activate whichever voice assistant is enabled on your device.
Can I use with a wired connection?
Use the included 3.5mm cable to connect Beats Studio Pro to a standard audio source. Beats Studio Pro also offers USB-C audio, so you can stream audio or take phone calls by connecting the headphone to a compatible source using the included USB-C cable.
Does it have a microphone?
Beats Studio Pro has six total microphones, enabling high-quality call performance as well as ANC and Transparency performance. Four microphones are dedicated to ANC and Transparency mode processing, and two beam-forming microphones are positioned out the outside of the ear cups to target your voice when on phone calls, video conferencing, or while using your voice assistant.
Does Beats Studio Pro have Spatial Audio?
When paired with Apple devices, Beats Studio Pro will automatically play back tracks available in Dolby Atmos from Apple Music. Head-tracking is only available when paired with Apple devices, and must be enabled/disabled from the device. Spatial Audio personalization requires an iPhone X or later with TrueDepth camera. Beats Studio Pro can also play back tracks available in Dolby Atmos when using Apple Music on an Android device.
How do I use USB-C and EQ-optimized sound modes?
When Beats Studio Pro is connected to a compatible source device via USB-C, it will appear as a standard USB audio device – enabling you to stream audio or take phone calls while simultaneously charging the headphone. While using USB-C audio, press the system button twice to switch between three EQ-optimized sound profiles: Beats Signature, Entertainment, and Conversation. The Fuel Gauge LEDs will illuminate one, two, or three segments correlating to each respective sound profile.
How can I keep my product up to date?
Software updates will occasionally be made available to enable new features or improve the product experience. These ‘silent’ updates are automatically enabled when connected to an Apple device. To stay up to date on an Android device, download the Beats app from Google Play.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2025Color: SandstoneStyle: Studio ProSet: Without AppleCare+Verified PurchaseI can’t say enough good things about my Beats Studio Pro headphones! As someone who listens to music all day, every day, finding the right pair of headphones was super important to me—and these have exceeded all my expectations.
First off, the comfort is incredible. I can wear these for hours on end and my ears never hurt or feel fatigued. The ear cushions are super soft and the fit is just right—snug enough to stay in place, but never too tight. Whether I’m working, studying, or just relaxing, I barely notice I’m even wearing them.
The sound quality is absolutely amazing. Every song comes through crystal clear, with deep bass, crisp highs, and a balanced sound that makes every genre sound its best. I’ve rediscovered so many of my favorite tracks just because they sound so much better on these headphones!
One of my favorite features is the noise cancelling. It blocks out all the background noise, whether I’m in a busy coffee shop, on a noisy bus, or just want to tune out the world at home. It makes a huge difference, especially when I need to focus or just want to enjoy my music in peace.
If you’re looking for headphones that combine comfort, incredible sound, and top-notch noise cancelling, I can’t recommend the Beats Studio Pros enough. They’ve become an essential part of my everyday life, and I absolutely love them!!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2023Color: SandstoneStyle: Studio ProSet: Without AppleCare+Verified PurchaseMy earliest forays into a More expensive headphone was with the Beats Brand and the wired Beats Pro headphones. Then I graduated to the wireless Beats Studios, as well as the Executive headphones and those were my headphones for years. I don’t recall the noise cancelling being anything at all and of course there was no such thing as a transparency mode back then, but at the time I loved the look, the colors (especially metallic gold of the Beats Studios) and enjoyed the heavy bass sound they provided. As I grew more sophisticated and appreciated more sound quality, I moved on to other headphones (plus my last pair of Beats Studio the hinge broke on one side). I had tried the Beats Solo Pros and wanted to love them but they were, though improved, still an on-ear headphone and too uncomfortable for me. I had hoped then that an update for the Studios to Studio Pros was imminent but turned out it would be awhile before this did come to pass but I knew once it did I would have to buy them and try them out eventually. It didn’t take long as I saw they went on sale for $100 off only a month after release and I jumped on that deal! I am pleasantly impressed for the most part. They do a lot of the same things as the AirPods Max, if not as well. Sound quality is really good and has a more neutral sound than previous Beats Studios did. The Dolby Atmos with head tracking is fun. They are a little bright sounding and I sometimes have to either turn down the volume or use the eq on the iPhone Music App to lower the treble, or turn off the Spatial Stereo feature in the control center, (long press on the volume slider) but overall I find the sound pleasant and lively. There are no wear sensors, but I love the old school B buttons for pausing, volume and skipping and rewinding tracks very easy and intuitive after using Beats Studios for years so I don’t really miss it that much frankly. They are fairly comfortable, the cushioning on the ear pads and headband are plush but they do have a strong clamping force which might bother some but doesn’t bother me overly much, and I am fan of how stable they feel on my head. Noise canceling is quite good but as is expected not at AirPods Max level. I’ve always loved the 5 LED lights on the bottoms of the right ear cup which will show you the battery level when pressed. A double press of this button will switch between ANC and Transparency. Long press for Bluetooth pairing. No auto-switching between devices but once connected to a device in your iCloud, they automatically show up in other devices in the cloud and a press within the Bluetooth’s settings will switch it to the other device quickly and easily. The headphones will announce messages and you have the ability to use “Hey, Siri’ but I’ve noticed sometimes audio will stop with an announcement or Siri activation and may not continue playing music on its own, but a simple press of the “B” button will start play again. On the AirPods Max audio will reduce significantly but not stop, but with these the sound stops abruptly which can be jarring at first when the announcement is made. Of course you can turn off announcements in the control center if you want to avoid the interruption altogether. Build quality is plastic but still solid with metal sliders that have a jarring but somehow pleasing click as you slide them in or out. They are also very light, certainly lighter than the AirPods Max (which I also own). Also the case is nice with a spot for cables and even another pouch inside on the other side if you need it, but can’t really imagine adding much as with the headphones in, there really isn’t a lot of room. If you can get these on sale especially I would recommend then as a less pricey alternative to the more expensive headphones like the AirPods Max. I’m a fan of the sandstone color, I hear the dark colors, especially black, are finger smear magnets. These are a little bit like that, but with the light color it is much less of an issue. These are a classic revisited and I will always have a soft spot for the Beats Studio (now pros) headphones! I forgot to mention that you can use the usb c cable for lossless audio from your computer or iPad, which is awesome, although i have yet to try that out as I am all about wireless functionality, I don’t like being tied down to wires! Still great option, and one the AirPods Max cannot do (yet anyway). These are a great option for those not willing or able to spend more and still great a great headphone!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2025Color: BlackStyle: Studio ProSet: Without AppleCare+Verified PurchaseI really like these headphones! Connecting them to my phone and ipad was super easy to do, the sound and base of the headphones is great as well! These headphones i think are better then most because you can shut o and off the noise cancellation which i really like. The design is so sleek and it just looks overall amazing, they aren’t to big and bulky like i thought they’d be which is great. The noise cancellation actually works for once! You can still hear a little bit but its got to be REALLY loud and if you turn up you music you shouldn’t be able to hear much else. The only thing i wish was different was when your on facetime and the other person screenshares you cant hear them or whatever they’re sharing and they cant hear you so you cant use them. From what my boyfriend has told me the mic quality when i use them isnt to bad but he can still understand me and its better then most. I HIGHLY recommend!

Color: SandstoneStyle: Studio ProSet: Without AppleCare+Verified PurchaseThe best headphones I have ever used ! very good sound quality and decent noise cancellation, transparency mode is at the same level as the airpods pro 2, and about comfort, these are very comfortable headphones and they stay in place even when you do heavy gym workout. If you willing to buy great headphones, you need to consider buying the beats studio pro.
