I caught this set on sale for $9, so I think it a great value for my money. I Love the dolls outfits and they are good quality. They are a great size and go well with the barbie doll house and prince castle

This item isn’t worth more than about $10-15 in my opinion. Fortunately it’s been on sale for well below that for some time. I purchased the set for the kettle, table, cups and plates, and accessories.The dolls are disappointing. Pixelated faces, problems with the hair (snarls in the braids, the black-haired one’s hair was uneven and required trimming), details on the dresses are printed, limited articulation. The one with the crutch has one jointed arm so that she can very nearly be posed using the crutch… but not quite. Her glasses won’t fit other dolls, either. They’re too wide even for male dolls. Her shoes won’t properly fit Barbie or other doll bodies, and mine arrived with significant “plastic frost” — a condition that occurs over time to certain plastics where they form a whitish film on the surface that is more visible on darker items. It wipes off.The setting pieces are nice for lower-end furniture and props. They are worth the ~$7 price point at which I purchased the set. The table is very low. The dolls have molded plastic cushions to sit on, but don’t have knee articulation, so it’s awkward from a playability standpoint, but the table itself has a cool design. The teapot/kettle is very unique as well. Nice pieces!Overall, this is not very versatile. It would be a good toy for a child who liked the movie, but I hear the film was not well received. No regrets, but no one should pay retail for this item.
