This throw is gorgeous. I was worried about how the quality would be and if it would be flimsy and smell like chemicals, but I am not disappointed. It's thick and soft. The only negative is the picture of the fringe would lead you to believe it's almost a 6 inch length and it is more like 3 inches long but not an issue really. It's a super high quality weave, not noticing any shedding as people have reported. Smells fresh even though it's acrylic no chemical smell. Highly recommend.
Update: this material DOES shed quite a bit, people are not wrong. It's not a problem for me because practically everything I own is black and the couch is leather but just an FYI
