I have a small Bose speaker, and I must say that the sound quality is just as good if not better with this speaker! I must admit that I was shocked! Even the delightful sound when you power the device on, it sounds as though you’re powering on a motorcycle! I love it! I think that this would be wonderful for a child to attach to their backpack or to simply hang on a hook on a wall. I like to hang it in close proximity to my front door so that people do not hear me singing along with the music when I’m washing my dishes. They simply hear the music in all of its glory.! I do absolutely recommend this speaker. I did make this purchase so that I can carry it with me when I walk rather then wearing the headphones as the headphones will not allow me to hear what is going on around me.
