Shipped rough, but they look great!
These look great! They come in a decent box that would make for a great gift. Unfortunately I had two items shipped by Amazon when I ordered these and as a result I think they got jostled a bit during shopping. The inserts inside that keep everything in place were torn, but everything inside was still fine. If you're giving these as a gift, I'd take a look at the inside of the box before presenting them. Even with the weak packaging, the candles themselves were in fine condition. There were setup instructions included on the underside of the lid of the box so make sure you keep the box! The candles themselves look very well crafted. As they're hand-blown, they don't have any seams and they're just crystal clear. I noticed that they had some kind of dust inside them. I tried to use some compressed air to clean them out before putting oil in them, but this didn't work. I then used a tiny amount some plain water, swished it around, and the dust came out just fine. Unfortunately it'll take ages to air dry, though, so i don't recommend this. Instead, when you fill them with oil, make sure the oil runs down the sides. It'll take the dust to the bottom and it becomes invisible. The instructions were easy enough, however they tell you to only keep out 0.02mm of wick which is an impossibly small amount to measure. I kept mine out to the point where they're just sticking up over the top of the candle and that seems to work fine. The other thing that seems missing from the instructions is maintenance. I don't know when I should trim or replace the wick, or of I'll ever need to. I've never had an oil burning candle or lamp before, so I'll have to look that up, but it would've been nice for them to tell me. Also filling the candles can be a bit finicky. Starting is easy, but then trying to stop without spilling can be a challenge. I'd recommend you use a funnel, and I wish they'd included a small funnel with these. They do include more than enough oil, so you'll bet set for possibly years depending on how often you burn them. Once burning, the flames are nice, large and bright, much moreso than a wax taper candle usually is. I think they look rather elegant. I got these mainly for the seemingly frequent power outages we've been having during summer storms this year, in addition to adding some ambiance to a room when needed. I think these are going to work out very well for both. Overall i really like these. Once the tall one dries out, I'll be excited to fill it and get it lit. Im giving 5 stars to the product itself, though the packaging could've been better (not their fault how it was handled during shipping, but they could have secured the candles better in the box to make sure they were presentable and had no chance of breaking), especially if somebody was intending them as a gift) and the instructions could be clearer about wick size and maintenence. The oil was also not sealed in any way and, considering its flammable, you'd really want to make sure it's securely sealed. So the end product is an easy 5 stars. Packaging is a 3, and instructions are a 4.

I ordered a set that arrived broken, and then the replacement set was also broken. Thankfully, between the two packages I was able to put together one good set. I really do like these, but they are fragile. Be prepared for it to take a couple of orders to get a full set in one piece.

I am so excited to use these wonderful handmade Oil Candles.

The 3 elegant hand-blown Oil Candles are very light and made of delicate glass.
Each timeless vintage looking Candle is a different height and they look amazing paired together on a mantel, cabinet, or a table.

The Directions on the underside of the Box Top are pretty straight forward: fill with oil, tops with wicks drop inside the candles, and they are ready to light up. Note: The wicks have different lengths; fitting each Candle height.

The flame is beautiful, but will be very high if the wick is peeking out too long on the glass top. Make sure the wick barely shows to get the maximum burning time of each wick. The longer the wick is, the faster it will burn up, the more you will need to pull it up, the faster you will buy replacement wicks.
If you need to pull the wick up you can use flat tweezers and grab onto the whole wick to not just pull the threads -or- “twist” and push the wick from the bottom up.

The Candles burn seemingly odorless, but I do not like the paraffin oil. Since paraffin is derived from petroleum, coal, or shale oil, it has been found to contain known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents) such as benzene.
I will be using Olive Oil for an alternative in the future, which burns cleaner.
Filling the Candle with oil would be made easier if a little funnel was included.

The candles came well packed, but the bottle had no seal to securely keep the oil sealed in.

I am happy with this order. These Candles make a great housewarming or wedding gift.

So bummed since they’re so expensive, they came chipped and the cord looks like it’s already been dipped in the red liquid, it’s stained red . Ordered a replacement so we’ll see what arrives… dissatisfied

These are BEAUTIFUL. Fill 'em up with lamp oil, pop the tops on (wick drops inside the candle, obviously), and set them afire. They are a delicate looking candle, but one of my kids knocked one over on the table the other day, and it didn't break. The oil has to be refilled and the wick pulled up after each use (for me, at least). I get a few hours of burn time out of them (I didn't track it exactly). I need to use tweezers to pull the wick up... I can't exactly just grab what's left of the burned nub, and shoving them up from the bottom doesn't work well. I can kind of twist them up, but tweezers are easier if you can grab a hunk of the wick (otherwise the tweezers just start pulling the threads out). I wouldn't hesitate with these ones.
