I searched for months trying to find brass sconces for our DIY built ins in our daughters nursery. I am so happy with how these turned out. We installed them without wiring, and used the puck lights that were recommended. It’s actually so nice to be sitting in her rocking chair and to be able to control the lighting with a remote while holding a sleeping baby. The other thing I wanted to note is the quality. These lights are set near to some more expensive items (rejuvenation knobs, Caitlin Wilson wallpaper), and I was nervous there would be a noticeable gap in quality - but they hold their own and fit right in, I think they look a lot more expensive than they are. Also very easy to install! Super happy with them!

Nice quality, great style. It adds charm and homeyness to our hallway.We use a remote control puck light in it as we don't have hardwiring on the wall in this spot. The puck light Amazon recommends here (3.4" in width) fits but it has to be on an angle, it will not sit flat.

I purchased these slightly damaged though you can’t really tell by looking at them . We added puck lights as recommended instead of hardwiring them which enable you to setup a timer . Adds beautiful ambiance to the room. Very pleased with this purchase!

They are not the most high quality looking light fixtures.The lamp shades are a little bit cheap looking in my opinion, but they are what I would expect for this style of light at this price point.
My biggest issue with these lights at the time I write this review, is that I have several places where I think they will look great and I can’t decide where to put them!
As for mounting, they mount to a standard light box - so as she tries to figure out where they should go - I try to talk her into where it is easiest to wire. They don’t have any CSA/ UL markings on them, but they do have a sticker saying max 60W. There are two wires going to the lightbulb, going inside a flexible shroud so they shouldn’t arc out any time soon. The mounting plate has a ground strap on it - from there, you just have to trust that any ground makes it through the painted screw attaching it.
