COMPARTMENTALIZING MY FRUIT TRHESE DAYS

COMPARTMENTALIZING MY FRUIT TRHESE DAYS
COMPARTMENTALIZING MY FRUIT TRHESE DAYS I am starting on a new journey. It is just a transition from an old way of doing things. I have been taking notes for many years, now. I store food, I prepare food, I cook food. They are all related. The cooking part is going well. Its the storing of food, which is slowing down and making prepping food more than it should be. When we prepare food, we have to use-it, or store-it. There are many meals where it is advantageous, to have all of the ingredients prepped, before you ever begin cooking. Whether cooking right away, or storing food, you will run into, how to store the food, and what to store it in. Because ultimately, it is about not wasting food. When we go to get an item from the storage container, we open, and close a container. The containers that I use, are not meant to be a permanent solution. They can last a long time, but eventually, I end up with more tops to containers, than containers themselves. There has to be a better way to prep fresh fruits and vegetables, and store them in a more permanent solution. I'm looking to store enough different fruits and vegetables, to not have to look too far for quick snacks, that are predetermined. PROS: If I want a snack, I go for what is quick, and easy. So, if I place my snacks into containers like These by, OZEPLASC. You Set your Set you Date, you Prep your favorite snacks, and store. You will have many options to choose from by adding a different item in each cup. These Containers make a great start to a Salad Bar, at Home. It's all the topping that we miss on every day salads. If we prep the toppings , and have them ready, building salads are just as fast as any other snack. You pull these out, get your lettuce, and start building. Everyone can have their own combination, and try new combinations CONS: One item may be going bad, but the item next to it is still good. Remove, wash and replace the bad Cell. You can also do a maintenance cleaning (I'm thinking Cantaloupe and juicier fruit will drip some) by removing the Cells, and Washing the Container. Replace the Cells. There is room on the bottom of the Container for liquid to collect, too. A VIEW FROM OUTSIDE OF THE BOX: A Salad Bar is a great Trend. It makes sense, and it is Healthy. Before building a Salad Bar, you may have to get some input from others, on what to include in these containers.

I absolutely love this vegetable storage box! It keeps my produce fresh for much longer, reducing waste and saving me trips to the store. The design is sturdy, spacious, and well-ventilated. It’s also easy to clean and fits perfectly in my fridge. A must-have for anyone looking to keep their fruits and vegetables organized and fresh! Highly recommend!

This storage container is great at storing fresh fruit. I just grab it and take it to the table for several fruit choices at your fingertips. Container is solidly built, easy to clean and the lid latches are very easy to open and close.

This thing is perfect for having fruit or veggies washed and cut and ready to go for the kids. I can tuck in the fridge and pull it out when they get hungry. It's also been a lifesaver for road trips. Though I am taking a star off for not being leakproof even with a little "leakproof" vent in the lid

I absolutely love these fruit storage containers. The three compartments are perfect for keeping different fruits and veggies fresh and separated, and the lid seals tightly to prevent any leaks or spills. They're BPA-free and feel sturdy, making them a safe and reliable choice for both home and on-the-go use.

I am pleased with the quality of this container. It’s an upgrade for my fridge… and an upgrade for my life.

We homeschool, and healthy ready-to-eat snacks for my kids significantly helps streamline our lunchtime routine. Food prep saves me so much time.

While there are several varieties available, I chose this version because of the month/day display for proper food safety and the ventilation that prevents condensation.

Currently, I am using this container to store both fruits and vegetables together; however, I plan to order another one so we can prep them separately. The bottom is smaller than the lid and they appear to stack nicely together. I do wish these containers came in packs of 2!

The clips securing the lid are sturdy enough for my children to open independently but also secure enough to prevent spilling during transport.

Everything comes apart to wash and dry easily.

This snackle box is a nice size with compartments that can actually hold a fair amount so you can even fit several larger foods like grapes or cherry tomatoes. The compartments are easy to take in and out and the box lid is easy to snap on and it appears to seal well. The date indicator on the lid is helpful and the markers slide without much effort but seem to stay in place after you set them.

The little handles on the sides are fine but it would have been nice if there was a handle on top so you could carry it one handed without it tipping. And while the lid is easy to snap on the latches feel a bit flimsy so I expect they're going to break at some point since they aren't as sturdy as the other components. Overall I think this is fine and useful but there's room for improvement.
