DON'T Follow the Assembly Instructions
I'm young (28) with above average grip strength, and my thumbs were not strong enough to press the support rods under the bamboo frame like the instructions told me to do. I feel bad for the old reviewer with arthritic thumbs who had a miserable time assembling it. So after 30 mins of failing to assemble it per the instructions, I bring you the TRIED & TRUE trick that allowed me to assemble this SOB in less than 5 minutes. The hamper seemed impossible to assemble until I used the Velcro straps as a lever to wedge the rods into place under the frame. Just tuck the rod under the strap, pull down on the Velcro cover with one hand, pull up on the frame with the other hand, and bam! Rods inserted successfully. Work smarter, not harder, folks!

    This is a great lightweight good looking laundry hamper and does the job. The only flaw is the inner mesh bag often does not stick to the velcro in the hamper and often falls down, this also happens if the weight of the clothes brings it down.

    This light weight yet sturdy hamper verified my hypothesis; that it would be a promising closed structure to keep cats out. It is... as a result my clothes aren't yellow, wet, and heavily fragranced with ammonia. I also like the setup. It's built like a tent, but for your clothes.
