Non-coated drywall corner tape, flexible, series: Ultra flex, 4-1/2 in width, 100 ft length, 0.44 in at center, 0.018 in at edge thickness, co-polymer core, for long peaks >10 ft and for vaulted, cathedral, tray ceilings, long columns or soffits. First off, I am a high-end remodeling contractor so I am confident I know how to finish drywall however I have always struggled with drywall corners that are more or less than 90 degrees, like vaulted ceilings, tray ceilings and the such. I spend excessive amounts of time trying to straighten the corner seam and no matter how much time I spend, the inside corners always look a bit squirrely; just not perfectly straight but a bit wavy. Thought I would try this product. It is a PITA to work with long runs, like 20', but if installed correctly the first mudding, the corners are almost perfectly straight. Takes maybe 20% more time to set the tape because it is a bit rigid, but cuts the mudding and finishing time in half. Highly recommended, even at the high price. Well worth the money.

While recently finishing our attic, we needed tape to span the 30 foot length of the knee-wall to the sloped wall and the sloped wall to the ceiling. The joints were not particularly straight and had some large gaps so regular tape would not have worked.
I first ordered the 450 for the sloped wall to ceiling seam because I thought the extra width would be helpful and the description for the 325 said that it shouldn't be used in lengths of over 10 feet.
After we got the 450 up (sloped wall to ceiling), I decided to try the 325 on the seam between the knee-wall and the sloped wall to save a few bucks and it worked out fine for our 30 foot length.
Both the 450 and the 325 were easy to use in our application. At first I was skeptical that the mud would hold the 450 up because a 30 foot piece of it is pretty heavy. However, the next morning both the 450 and 325 were as tight to the wall/ceiling as they were immediately after installation.
The blue line is very helpful in trying to get your line as straight as possible.
The box made measurement super easy with the notch for a tape measure.
The tape can take a bit of muscle to cut , although snips worked far better than shop scissors.
I have applied the final coat of compound on the outside edges and appreciate the fact that I don't need to mud all of the way to the corner.
It was expensive but in the end it saved quite a bit of work.

The reason I gave it at three was this is so expensive at over $100 for 100 feet is a little ridiculous but this does cover-up holes where the drywall went behind another piece of drywall and there’s a big hole there it covers that up so as far as working well, it works very well. I love it, but it’s just very very expensive.
