Mud Pie is a home decor and lifestyle brand founded by Marcia Miller in 1988 with 10 home items, and has since expanded to design, manufacture and distribute thousands of new products each season across three divisions: Home, Kids and Women. Mud Pie is a female-founded and operated company. Mud Pie is still a privately-owned, family-operated business. Miller and a partner established the female-owned rep firm in the Southeast. The business proved successful, and in 1988 Miller bought her partner’s share to start a small gift company specializing in ceramics—Mud Pie was born.
