Looking for a comfortable travel pant w/deep zippered pockets. Usually a 6, and in NYDJ a 4, a brand which recommends sizing down due to the amount of spandex in the stretch. A bit confused as to which size to order in these but read the reviews that they tend to run small & got the 8. Size guide measurements were spot on & they fit great in the waist, a bit baggy in the seat, thighs a bit bigger than I prefer. Know that filling up the pockets w/ affect the fit but the % spandex has me thinking they w/stretch w/wear and "grow" with wear. Have a size 6 ordered, so anxious to test the fit on that pair. If you like the roomy comfort & roomier fit of jogging pants then would recommend sticking w/the size guide & ordering accordingly. If buying for hiking, would definitely use this as a perfect size for freedom of movement. As a point of reference, am 5'5, 135, inseam 28. Quality is superb, great pocket depth and placement, excellent quality zippers. Long for me - inseam 28 - so w/need to shorten. Really worth the money once you figure out the right size.
