    It's very very thick material.... definitely a winter thing.... the model in the pick wearing it with bare legs seems a little unrealistic. For me it felt too bulky. Im sure it will keep you warm... but that's my worry is that I will just want to take it off ... but I bought it because I liked the cute style... so I guess it just depends on where you are going and how you choose to style it. It is heavy material, and feels as though it isn't going to get any softer after washing... and although it looks good oversized here on the model, I wish I sized down as for me, I felt the fit just made me look frumpy.
