I thought maybe he would like to have his own camera and i was right! This is the perfect camera for your young, first time photographer. It fits really well in little hands. The touch screen on the back is large, and easy to maneuver through the options on the camera. It has a couple little games in it. But what's great is that it also takes videos with sound!!! There are some filters to use on your pictures also.
Everything is basically one button to operate.
Not complicated at all.
And the BEST feature?? You can PRINT out the photos that you take!
The camera comes with 3 rolls of photo paper that you insert inside the camera.
Follow the included instructions! Even if you are POSITIVE you know how to set it up and put the paper in, read them! Good way to avoid an upset little one when the camera doesn't work because you did something wrong! Lol
When you turn the cameras print option on, once you take a pictures, about 2 seconds later the paper starts to roll out of the top of the camera through the slot. Once it stops, you can tear the paper off on the serated edge(not dangerous)...and you immediately have your black and white photo in your hands!! The pictures you take in the camera are in color but print B & W. They are pretty clear and good quality images as far a camera like this would print. Remember it's not a $2000 camera! Lol
Our son LOVES IT! There are printed photos all over the house! Lol. (Even ones of me when I wasn't paying attention sad to say...frightening!! Lol)
So, if your little one loves to take their own pictures and videos, this is the perfect little starter camera for them. And it's something you can do together with your little one!
And finally...don't forget the matching case for your camera! And make sure you buy the case that fits the size of the camera you get. You will want to protect this new camera!
Camera also comes with charging cables and quick release carry strap and 3 rolls of film. It also comes with a memory card to store the pics you take. A great deal for the price IMO!

Just remember it's a thermal print camera, not a polaroid.
I love this camera. It's been so fun to take to social events. People love the novelty of printing the photo off and taking it with them. You have the option to print every photo you take or just save to the memory card, so if you run out of "film" just snap photos and print the keepers later. This camera has a timer option, cute filters and multi-shot. It also has video, MP3 and games, but I've not really used those functions at all. The battery lasts a decent amount of time. I've had it a couple weeks now and I pull it out any opportunity I get and I'm still on the first full charge. The charging port is a USB-C and it will still take photos while charging. I tried it while hooked up to a battery pack. It comes with a 32gb micro SD card (which is more than enough space for the resolution of the photos) and three rolls of paper. If you print too many photos at once, it will overheat and pop up an error message, but I've only run into this issue once when I took a group photo then tried to print 8 copies of the photo back to back. Just snapping photos leisurely, I've not run into the issue. Personally, I don't think the print quality is terrible, but I also firmly understand it's printing pictures on receipt paper so my bar is very low. They are grainy, black and white photos, but I personally find them very charming. I know the photos will eventually fade just due to the nature of thermal print paper, but I've been scanning the ones I really love. :) Great camera for kids OR adults honestly and for the price of the camera and the paper? Can't beat it. I have a instax mini and the price of each photo weighs heavily on my mind with every photo I take. With this camera, who cares if it turns out? Each roll of paper costs about a dollar and prints probably 100 photos. (bonus pointer, the prints fit very nicely into those plastic 35 stick gum purse packs. I had so many of them loose in my bag I had to find something to store them in an that worked perfect!) I really can't recommend this camera more to anyone with kids or anyone who wants cute but cheap novelty photos.
