This game falls somewhere between a competitive game and ice breaker exercise. There isn't a whole lot of strategy and once you've played it a few times with the same group of people it'll lose some of it's appeal, however, it shines as an ice breaker game when playing with a new group of up to 8 people. It's a great way to start off a game night, especially if there are new people in the group that don't know everyone. The game concept is pretty simple. You have a box of well-organized, high quality cards that are organized into different topics. Players take turns being the "guesser". They draw 5 cards, and pull one (without looking at it) and show it to the rest of the group and then blindly shuffle it back into their stack of 5 cards. Everyone then shouts an answer and the guesser sifts through their stack to try and guess which of the cards fits the answers that everyone shouted out. They then rank the card based on how likely they think their guess is to be right (4 = very likely, 0= no way that's it). They then work their way through the rest of the cards repeating the process until all 5 cars are ranked. The guesser scores the corresponding point value for the card that is in the correct spot. After that round, the next player draws 5 new cards and continues the game. The number of players decides the number of rounds but it can accommodate up to 8 people (each player gets one turn). Overall it's an inexpensive game ($24.99 at the time of this review) that has some pretty fun card topics that can lead to some entertaining conversations. It's very simple and plays pretty quick so it's a great warm up game for a game night. It might not have a ton of replayability with the same group, but in my opinion it's great for what it is and I would definitely recommend it.
If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced game to play with the entire family, look no further than this! Each round of the game takes 5 minutes or less to play and you decide how long you want to keep playing— no hostage 3-hour Monopoly scenarios. My entire family loves this game and I recommend it to everyone!
My family really enjoyed this game. We play it at every game night now. It's a lot of fun and has easy to understand the rules. The quality is nice and appears it will hold up to a lot of use. Can't beat it for the cost.
A great break the ice or just for kicks game. It is semi-family friendly. There are a couple questions that are above the little kid comprehension level and a few that aren't exactly kid-friendly; nothing raunchy or sexual. I didn't like that the instruction booklet FAQ's said "Hell No" in one of the answers... especially when the niece was reading the rules... but she skipped it, knowing better. The game is tons of fun though.
Added this in last minute as a gift for my son’s friend and it arrived very, very quickly. The kids have played this before and mentioned it was a good quality game. According to them they play it for hours and it’s super easy to get the hang of.
