well-made, aside from a thin bottom
These are actually quite well-constructed, compared to some of the nesting crate sets I've purchased over the years. The sides are evenly spaced, well-fastened, and the edges are nicely sanded, so all the ends are joined up flush with each other. I like the touch of the arches handle holes as well. My only critiques are that the glue used to help fasten the bottom to the frame, seems to have been applied too heavily on the biggest crate - so I'll have to sand that out before they can be stained. The other concern is that the bottom sheet is quite thin: and while that may suffice with the surface areas of the two smaller crates, I worry to put anything beyond minimal weight value into the biggest crate, for fear the bottom will simply crack off and spill the contents. I think I'll turn that one into a wall hanging shelf, where the weight gets distributed onto the stronger framework of the sides, rather than the bottom. Otherwise, these are a lovely lil set, and could easily be reinforced to perform better.

    I love this set of wooden nesting crates that can be used in a group or separately. They are a natural wood so they can be left natural, or they can be painted or stained to match your decor. I have mine in the bathroom, on shelves. These crates make it so easy to corral soaps, shampoos, lotions and anything else that you can think to place in these cute boxes. The all-natural decor would look especially nice in a nursery or a kid's room. They can just as easily look at home in a kitchen holding spices or different oils or even coffee/hot chocolate bar area.

    Functional- but not very movable if filled. The large one lost the top slat on one side when my son tried to move it- it had soft cotton material in it and wasn't very heavy. I like that there were three- this allows you to display them in different ways- but I used them for storage, not decor. They could be painted and personalized easily.

    Shipped back immediately. The wood was breaking apart, some parts were not together . It looks like wood staples are holding it together but the wood is weak and cracks where the staple goes in it so it doesn’t hold .

    I did not experience any excessive glue issues in any of the crates. I think they are very well put together and seem to be made of decent quality wood. There are a few parts where it could be sanded a little more to make it a little more smoother but that was the only issue I saw. I think these are really nice wooden nesting crates. I'm going to be using them to hold fake fruit and vegetables for a farmer's market theme I am setting up. After that I plan to paint them and use them in my craft office. The eggs in the picture are actually solid wood and very heavy and I didn't feel or see any issues with the crate being able to hold the weight.

    These are very nice wooden crates that even smell nice. I have the biggest of the three here on my desk to organize all the little things that otherwise would litter the desk, and it gives off the smell of nice fresh wood. I'm sure this will go away soon, but made a good first impression.
