I am a US size 16-18, usually wear size XL. I took a chance at ordering because the other reviewers pic looked a little thick and my bust at 42" wasn't tooooo far off.. Wrong!

This robe arrived and it was sooo flowy and pretty, but did not even come halfway close to closing and definitely no stretch. No, it doesnt look good hanging open, looks like you borrowed your kids robe and like the incredible hulk you're ready to burst out of it at any moment. I think this would not fit anyone above a US size 7 / medium. I ordered white, I cannot speak if the other colors are different size.

If you are small/med size I do recommend this robe, obviously not for warmth or actually covering up but to look like a goddess in the breeze.

So disappointed! This is my first time writing a bad review and I understand that sometimes the items are not exactly as pictured, but they are usually close enough to keep and use. But his is not the item in the picture AT ALL and not even close to being worth keeping (especially for the price I paid). It looks like they tried to copy the design that is in the image but missed by a mile. It is too big and frumpy in some areas, but too small/tight in other areas. The "sleeves" are much shorter than shown (the sleeve hole is way too big for the length of the sleeve), the detail around the neck is a cheap trim piece, the part that is supposed to go around my waist is in the middle of my back but closer to my waist in the front, the cut was uneven (lengthwise) and the "skirt" part did not have enough material to make it "flow". Even it more material was there, the type of fabric used would not accomplish the intended goal. It, too, was crooked at the front closure. I really didn't expect much for a swimsuit cover up, almost anything would have worked. But this is just unacceptable and truly worthy of a bad review.

I ordered this on Friday in hopes of getting it early enough on Saturday because we had a big pool party to attend. Unfortunately, it arrived a little too late. No matter. My wife had quite an enjoyable time at the party after a great deal of indulgence. When we walked home at the end of the evening, the package was lying against the front door. My wife opened the package and put the kimono on right away and loved it. She promptly passed out on the couch comfortably ensconced in the kimono. I went to bed, leaving her to sleep comfy on the couch. When I awoke Sunday morning, I looked over and my wife was naked except for the fact she was still wearing the kimono. She thought it was her girlfriend's robe since her girlfriend has exceptional taste. When I informed her that it was hers, she was tickled pink. We were boating on Sunday, so she had it with her the entire day, soaking up the feel of flowing robes as she walked around. I'll give it 5 stars. Buy this for your special woman; or you ladies buy it for yourself. I don't think you'll regret it.
