For wet brushing (gentle cleansing): In the shower, wet the brush and apply body wash or soap. Using the side with soft nylon bristles, gently brush your skin in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. Always clean and dry the brush after use. Replace every 3-6 months for optimal hygiene.

I'm no longer flexible enough to reach the center of my back with my hands. I got this to help with that. It works quite well, but the coloration on the coarse natural fiber side isn't ideal. I can't tell if it's dirty or not because that brown is the regular color. It's a problem that can be worked around though. I haven't had this long enough to comment on how long the fibers last. It's held up to a few shower sessions and seems to be good for a lot more.

    I really love this shower brush, both sides. I have some type of autoimmune disorder and get frequent rashes all over and both side of the brush work great in those areas.1 side is softer bristles and the other a little firmer. The firm side is perfect for giving a nice back scratch while scrubbing not too hard nor too light. The soft side is great for sensitive areas, which I have a lot of.
