I got the non-stick version of this item a few years ago and loved it until the finish started chipping all over the place and getting in our food. This stainless steel version is quite a bit more expensive, but I decided to get it because it should last for a very long time, presumably the rest of my lifetime. I absolutely love this pot and would highly recommend it to anyone as a fantastic investment. It cooks beautifully and is a pleasure to use. The only thing I don't like is the solid lid. Fortunately, the glass one from my old non-stick version is the same size, so I use that one with this pot instead of the one that came with it. A great gift for yourself or for someone who loves to cook and has an appreciation for high quality cookware.

Stay away. Pitting like crazy from first use. No warranty.
I had this pot for two weeks. Used 4 times to boil water. Look at the images. Gets worse each time I use it. Contacted All-Clad customer service: “it’s normal” they say and they won’t do anything about it. Don’t buy unless you think this is normal.
