    These are the BEST touch and feel book for young babies! We have had these since my 16 month old was only a few months old. The touch and feel parts are very engaging to a young baby. Even I love to feel them! Now that my daughter is a little older she likes to point out other things on the page like stars or point to the spider’s eyes. I would definitely suggest this book for a baby under the age of one but a toddler would still enjoy it.

    Because I am picky and it bothers me when books mostly rhyme except for on one or two pages, I read this book at the bookstore before buying it on amazon. This one does rhyme but not all of the books in this series rhymes on every page.

    *As you can see in the video, when my daughter saw me playing with this she couldn’t resist! :)

    My two year old loves this book and will read along with me. The last page is his favorite. There is a pretend bite taken out and his older brother has encouraged him to bite it so I have had to reinforce that page with extra tape from the trauma. We bought Never Touch a Dinosaur and will probably have to buy any others in the series because he loves the rhymes and textures.

    It’s just a silly book. I don’t think it encourages discrimination or anything. The book tells about how monsters are trying to get you, but the monsters are so cute and smiley!

    Our baby daughter was gifted another book by the same author/publisher - “Never Touch a Dragon.” The format is simple. A short poem about how you should never touch a monster on one page, with a bright and colorful picture of the creature on the other with a textured rubber part for tactile play. All of the “Never Touch a...” books work like this and our kiddo loves them. However, I found the variety of textures offered to be less than the other book we have. If your kid likes the related books, this is a great one to get. However, this is not the one that I would start with.
