So far, so good. I used a 3rd party 9aH 18v battery in it. Battery is too heavy for truly portable tools, but works well here. I've used it to build several projects already. I have other Ryobi ONE tools, so I already have some confidence in it, and it did not disappoint.
First thing I did was change the stock blade for a 60 TPI blade for cleaner crosscutting. Not that I'd recommend that for a general use saw, but I have other chopsaws with more aggressive blades for rough work, and I wanted to save this one for more precise cutting.
