Laces were too short but overall love these
The laces are sized for a tighter fit so I will be replacing them with longer ones (the laces in my pictures are different than the thin ones that came with the boots). Stitching is good. They’re not high heels or platforms but they still make me feel tall. I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in. I’ve only worn them for an hour so far and already they are starting to mold to my feet. They were pretty tight when I first tried them on but the more I wear them with socks, the better the fit is. The tread on the soles is very deep and grippy. I’m confident they will do well on snow and ice. The zipper is a little hard to pull but some lubricant will fix that. Overall, I love these and I’m positive they will be a main wardrobe staple for me. I’m sure they will last a long time.

    I adore my Garret boots! Every time I wear them someone comments about how cute they are! They are super comfortable and fit true to size. I usually wear a 6 or 6 1/2 and the 6 fits me perfectly. They have plenty of room in the toe box. I have very high arches and I loosened the ties over my arch so they are a custom fit. I love them so much I bought 3 pairs! It's a bonus they are waterproof. I live in Los Angeles and didn't really think I needed waterproof boots, but with the deluge of rain this season I'm really glad I have them! I actually love to walk in these and can be on my feet all day without feeling like I can't wait to take them off! I love them!

    After reading some of the mixed reviews I finally took the plunge and ordered these boots. Day 1, so far so good! They are comfortable, no breaking in period. They are stylish with an edgy thicker sole. I like the zipper, makes it so much easier to get in and out of. If you’re in between sizes like I am, I suggest sizing up a half size. As for the quality, the upper part looks and feels like leather. They don’t look or feel cheap (and I am picky!). I have been searching high and low and the other brands that are much more expensive did not fit as well, we’re hard to get in/out of, and did not look as cute. These boots are made for walking! Hope they last!

    Boot has a low arch, and run ever-so-slightly on the narrow side.

    British-Swedish foot here. I have a pair of Doc Martins with a similar style and they are nice and boxy.

    I don't want to pull customers away to the competition, however. But if I were the boot manufacturer I also wouldn't want angry customers.

    I would direct narrow tapered foot traffic over here, and folks with square feet over to Doc Martin.
