I've had the round bulb squeezer in my drawer for years and it worked - kinda ok. It took a lot of strength. This one though, is my new favorite tool! It folds flatter which is a huge relief in the drawer. But the best part is the squeeze! It's supper efficient and strained every single seed! It didn't kill my hands squeezing it either. Got every drop out of of that half a lemon. I was a bit skeptical, but honestly, try it. It's plastic, but super thick and weighty (but not too weighty). It really does work. I could not be happier. In fact, everyone I know may be getting one for Christmas. It's a bright yellow. Wish I would have thought of it. They figured out a way to make citrus squeezing a breeze. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I often struggle with juicing citrus. The juicers where you have to manually press and turn the citrus are hard on my wrists. The metal ones that clamp the citrus half and squeeze them, always seem to leave too much juice in the fruit. The Fluicer has eliminated both of these issues. I was nervous that it would be a bit flimsy, but it feels very sturdy in the hand, even in operation. It caught the seeds and was easy to rinse and clean, when cleaned directly after use. I will stop asking my spouse to squeeze the citrus now, it is so easy!

I have just about every kitchen gadget known to man, so it's hard to get overly excited about something as simple as a new citrus squeezer ... but, holy cow !! This lime squeezer is AMAZING. I saw it on a bartender's blog, and just had to try it. This flat squeezer works SO much better than my old bulb version; it's 100% worth the expense (especially when lemons/limes are costing $.50 a piece), as it gets out nearly double the juice of my old squeezer, and gets almost all of it into the measuring glass. And it's really fast too - so fast that I don't feel the need to get out my electric juicer when making bigger batches of cocktails. I'm now buying a second one, as it fits perfectly in my portable bartender kit :). Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

If I were rating it purely on juicing, it's an easy 5/5. Let's even say it's an easy 5/5 on juicing and price. It's a wonderful juicer that's easy to store, smooth to use, and leaves citrus bone-dry. I expected the seed catcher to be hit-and-miss based on other reviews, but it's been catching seeds great for me.

However, this juicer is not the most convenient to clean, with all the crevices it has that do not come apart. And, no matter how you slice it (🍋 pun not intended), it feels precarious to be exerting force on a tool made of plastic. Even if it is a NICE plastic.

Lemons are an indispensable ingredient in many of the dishes I cook. At age 71, I've had every kind of juicer imaginable. This is the best by far: easiest to use, quickly gets every drop of juice out of the lemon (or lime or orange), catches the seeds, is easy to wash, folds flat so even though it's large it doesn't take up much room in my drawer. I have the lemon juicer, and it's big enough to juice most oranges. A few years ago I started buying seedless lemons because I was sick of the seeds, but I've gone back to the less expensive regular lemons. I've read reviews talking about the problems with using a heavy hand and breaking the plastic so I'm careful not to exert too much pressure on the juicer. Try it -- you'll love it!

My fluicer arrived with the little seed catcher broken, so I asked for a replacement, but instead they gave me a refund and haven't restocked the fluicer since. C'est domage. HOWEVER, I've been just using it anyway, and this thing is actually magical. I have bad wrists and previously juicing citrus by hand was something I did rarely and painfully. Now I can juice 10 lemons in ten minutes with no pain or even strain, and I do feel like. I get more of the juice this way, too. The orange one can accommodate large oranges and any citrus smaller than that, which makes the larger size more useful than the smaller, lemon or lime fluicers. Strongly recommend this product.
