      I do a lot of traveling both in the air and on the ocean, so when I found myself forgetting to pack my OEM MacBook Pro charger brick into my Carry-On bag, I decided that it was time to invest in a dedicated smaller footprint alternative charger for my MacBook Pro that I could just leave packed in my luggage even when I got back home. Primarily so that I never forget to pack such an important piece of gear for the next trip.

      This, along with the "140W USB-C to Magnetic 3 Safe Charging Cable" I now have duplicates of both the charger and the Magnetic 3 cable that can stay permanently packed in my Carry-On or check bag, so when I travel with my MacBook Pro, I can leave the original OEM versions safely at home. Not to mention the fact that this Anker alternative is a lot smaller and easier to find space for.

      Design, Charging Speed, Build Quality and Durability are all there as you would expect from anything Anker puts out there! I can't recommend both this charger and the OEM charge cable replacement enough for anyone who wants solid backups of their originals for use when traveling.

      If you charge something that requires more than 80w for more than an hour, this thing will get extremely hot. Other than that, this charger has a compact size, great for travel and everyday use. Quality of it is no doubt, I always trust Anker stuffs.

      This charger is a beast and can power my laptop for lite use at a fraction of the size of it's normal charger.

      It's quite compact and you'll notice right away that it's surprisingly heavy - not usually relevant for electronics but for power supplies it's an indication that good components are in use. I'm not sure how well it will stay plugged into loose outlets.

      It's a bit expensive, but as long as you keep in mind that it's not a replacement for small cheap chargers but for larger, more serious hardware, this is an excellent value. 5/5.

      Gets the job done but gets extremely hot in the process. Bought for portability - small size and light weight. However, considering the absurdly high temperature it reach, I will not recommend this Fire hazard to anyone.
