We are a family who loves our family game nights, and this was definitely a crowd pleaser. If your children can read on their own for the most part, then definitely try out this game. There are a TON of cards, so you will have many hours of fun, guaranteed.
When you first look at the game board, it looks like you'll get through it super fast. But you don't always get to progress forward unless you can name three things before the timer ends - definitely not as easy as it sounds! Can take up to 25-30m to complete a game.
It's incredibly easy to learn right out of the box; so there isn't really any "learning curve" like there sometimes is with more complex games such as Catan or Enchanted Forest.
