Product Description

At McCormick, we hand-harvest our black peppercorns to ensure that the larger berries are picked for the boldest flavor. The peppercorns are coarsely ground for a robust texture that’s perfect for sprinkling on steaks, burgers and roasts. One of the world’s most popular spices, black pepper comes from the dried, immature berries of the pepper vine. The dark brown to black, deep-set wrinkled berries, when ground, have a sharp aroma and kick of earthy heat. Keep one by the stove to add heat to everything from stews and casseroles to soups and dressings. At the table, sprinkle on salads, baked potatoes and vegetables.
