My wife ordered this metal plant rack as an accoutrement to her menagerie of vegetation. A section of our bedroom is a borderline garden with plants dominating the area. Many are on a wood table and to give visual depth to the area some are elevated on plant stands. Over the past year she's ordered a few of these, and most are acceptable. She liked this one more because it felt more durable and sturdy.
It's design and construction has two screws per leg vice the single screw on the others. To her it felt more sturdy. A spilled plant in the bedroom would be a mess, and probably not good for the plant. One in place they all seem to work fine, but when rearranging them it really shows the quality of construction. The material itself appears to be a lightweight aluminum. She said it assembled easily with no ill-fitting pieces.
She also appreciated the wheels. The plant she has in the holder is only about 8 - 10 pounds, but it still makes moving easy. The wheels lock so she doesn't have to worry about inadvertent rolling. Overall, at $20, it's middle ground on price for comparable items. Recommend.
