Original Game and Expansion/Travel Pack available!

Everyone has at least one crazy family member...

If you don’t think you do, then that means it’s YOU.

As We All Know...You Can Pick Your Nose, But You Can't Pick Your Family!

So why not laugh about it?

This laugh-out-loud party game uses bits of comedian Jeff Foxworthy's material that mix and match to create wacky situations that families and friends will love! Play the original game, and get the expansion/travel pack to add to it for additional cards!

One player reads a set up card, like 'While walking past my sister's bedroom, I heard her say…' and then other players choose a punch line card to fill in the blank, hoping the reader will pick theirs as the best:

  • Sometimes I think orphans are so lucky
  • Hell yeah they’re real!
  • It’s not my fault! It just popped out!
  • I think there was weed in the brownies!
  • Give him a break, he just got out of jail
  • Take a picture of that and send it to me

Made and played by comedian Jeff Foxworthy

Inspired by the insanity of his own family and friends, Foxworthy created the game with laughter in mind. "There are a few certainties in life. One of them is everybody’s relatives are crazy," Foxworthy says. "You can let them make you nuts too, or you can learn to just laugh about it. I prefer laughter every time."

When he played it during a Thanksgiving gathering, Foxworthy says, "The results were beyond anything I could have hoped for. We laughed until we cried and a few people might have even peed just a little bit. Enjoy."

ordered this for a gift, and both times I have ordered it, it has come damaged. I am now contacting Playmonster to see what to do, but its very disappointing so far. they keep sending it in a bag instead of a box. not going to give it to someone when it looks used or dropped.

Relative Insanity is an absolute riot! As a big fan of comedian Jeff Foxworthy, I couldn't wait to try this game, and it didn't disappoint. From the first round, it had everyone in stitches, and we couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire gameplay.

The game is simple to understand, making it accessible for players of all ages, and it's perfect for parties and gatherings with friends and family. The premise is straightforward - one player reads a setup card, and then everyone else submits a punchline card to complete the joke. The catch is that the punchlines come from the "relatives" - the quirky characters in the family!

The real magic happens when you reveal the punchlines, and you'll be amazed at how hilarious and unexpected they can be. It's all about finding the perfect match between setup and punchline, and every round delivers belly-aching laughter.

What I love most about Relative Insanity is that it encourages creativity and imagination. It's incredibly entertaining to see how different players interpret the setup cards and come up with wild, witty, and sometimes absurd punchlines.

The game has a great balance of clean humor and slightly edgy jokes, making it suitable for teenagers and adults alike. The age recommendation of 14+ is spot on, as some punchlines may be a bit too risqué for younger players.

The game comes with a generous number of punchline cards, ensuring that you won't run out of hilarious combinations any time soon. Additionally, the cards are sturdy and well-made, which is always a plus for party games.

The only minor drawback is that some setup cards might become repetitive after multiple plays, but with the number of punchline combinations available, it doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

In conclusion, Relative Insanity is a fantastic party game that guarantees side-splitting laughter and unforgettable moments. It's a surefire way to break the ice and create lasting memories with friends and family. If you're in the mood for some wholesome fun and entertainment, look no further than Relative Insanity!

A question is asked and the players have multiple answers to submit. The results are half the fun.

Fun game for young adults and older people. Best played with a large group of players to keep players anonymity when choosing winners. Game can go on too long with four of less players.
Packaging was poor and arrived damaged. Almost returned but kept due to price drop. I feel that even if you “lost” half the cards , you wouldn’t notice because there’s so many cards in a deck.

I played this game with my mom and 2 of my grown children. It was 3 generations of fun! The kids told me this was similar to another game. But since I haven’t played it, I had nothing with which to compare it. They had played the other game, but thoroughly enjoyed this one, as well. Some scenarios are, of course, funnier than others. This was great for a light-hearted afternoon and brought smiles to all our faces. I recommend.

Fun game for the family. Great gift
    • Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2019

Although the cards are much more tame than those of other response card games, this is still not something I would recommend to an audience under 18. Although the responses aren't outright vulgar, they are very suggestive and caused a great deal of blushing and uncomfortable shifting when played on Christmas day with a couple 16 and 17 year old family members in the group. Laughter came from awkward situations more than hilarity of the gross or inappropriate responses, but I know that's the nature of these types of games. In praise of the game; the writing is very true to the red-neck humor of Jeff Foxworthy, so if you like that you'll be able to appreciate the drunk hillbilly jokes galore. Takeaway: In a group of 8 people, ages 16 to 45, some laughs were had but mostly at the absurdity of the responses and the embarrassing situations they caused. If you're looking for a family friendly game, this isn't it. If you're looking for a PG-13 version of other popular responses games, this might fit the bill, but definitely not for ages 14+ like the game suggests.
