I bought this set of glass containers because I'm throwing away all my plastic containers. I like the fact that they have glass lids surrounded by a silicone rim to seal the container tightly. I also appreciate being able to microwave my food and then close the small vent on the lid to keep my food hot longer. Then after we eat, the left overs go straight into the refrigerator. They store easily too, as they fit inside each other.
The only complaint I have is a small one. The glass lid shows finger print smudges if you don't hold the lid by the silicone rim. But that didn't stop me from buying the round glass containers soon after I received these.
