The Frog and Toad story books have been around since my daughter was little…over 30 years ago. She loved them, and now I am giving my three year old grandson one for his birthday. He will love the stories, and the terrific pictures on every page. The faces are adorable, and I am sure we will be reading this book over and over to him until he knows the stories by heart. He loves his colorful books, and is quite gentle with the pages. He also takes care of them, and puts them back on his bookshelf almost every day. This story book has a quality hard cover, and even includes some fun stickers. These characters are still loved by many. Very pleased and highly recommend.

    I loved these books when I was younger and my 7yo loves the humor of these stories. This collection of 20 stories (4 books in 1) is a great value for the cost. The quality of the book is excellent, the illustrations beautiful, and each page even has green leaves down the sides for an extra pop of color. We read these often! J'ai pris cette collection CD pour accompagner la lecture de mon fils aîné si il a envie de lire seul. Dans cette collection on trouve toutes les histoires dans les quatre livres de "Frog and Toad", et c'est l'auteur même - Arnold Lobel - qui récite les histoires avec émotion et joie. La narration de l'auteur est accompagnée d'effets sonores et morceaux de musique. J'ai cette collection depuis 2008, et maintenant mon deuxième enfant de trois ans adore écouter ces histoires.

    I purchased the Frog and Toad series of books for my son as they were favorites of mine as a child, and I got this CD collection for when he feels like reading alone. Two CDs on both sides contain all the stories in all four of the Frog and Toad books. It's the author himself, Arnold Lobel, who reads the stories and that makes it all the more special. There are sound effects and snippets of music accompanying Arnold Lobel's well-timed and emotion-filled narrative. I've had this CD collection since 2008, and now my second son, who is three years old, loves listening to them as he looks at the books or while playing.
