    My son and I love transformers and we both really enjoyed Transformers One. This toy looks nothing like anything from the movie, but it’s still fun! The mask mode is actually pretty great. It fits well and the soft rubber nose piece makes it comfortable to wear. The transformation is a little difficult for younger kids or those inexperienced with modern transformers, mostly due to how everything must line up perfectly and how tight everything is in mask mode. The robot mode is fun, but lacking in articulation, especially in the arms. The Optimus Prime design is cool but different than traditional Primes, and again, looks nothing like from the movie. The backside is a mess though and really shows off the cost cutting in transformation design. It definitely brings this transformer down a notch.

Once they transformed from the mask to the figure they opted to keep it in the figure form but I feel certain when they play it will be transformed back to mask.       We got this toy for our nephew birthday and he liked it. But it is pretty difficult to transform from the mask to the autobot. Our nephew is 4 so hes not able to transform is by himself. If says it takes 18 steps for it to transform. The size is quite big so it will fit a child's face properly. It is made of a good quality so it will withstand being played with rough. Overall this toy would be fun for younger kids but be prepared to have to transform it for them because the likelihood that they could do that on their own is slim.
