[My specs: 5’3, 130lbs. 29 waist. Ordered Medium] Now i’m not the most fashion savvy person, but I do hold the times i’ve cried in a changing room, 4 pairs of jeans on the “Not for me!” hook close to my heart. Always too big in the thigh, too tight on the waist, you name it. Nothing fit for me in department stores- and if it did, it dissolved in a gentle wash cycle. I just couldn’t win. Then came these jeans. These honestly saved my body image- almost like clothes should fit you, not the other way around. They fit perfectly at the waist. I felt snatched, but not like i’ve been bisected guillotine style. It fits *everywhere*. These are my second pair, at time of reviewing, only because my first pair got lost on a trip… and I mourned their loss like one would a child. I ordered this second pair without hesitation. Got a lil somethin’ back there, but can’t quite find a good pair of jeans to fit your waist too? Ones that won’t wear out/get loose over time? Here’s your holy grail. Thank me later. 🫶 (Do keep in mind these are mostly cotton. They are not elasticized at the waist. Measure yourself before ordering these, forreal.)

    I’m a size 14-16 and 5’ 8” and got an XL, so if you’re any bigger or taller than that these jeans won’t fit you as they fit somewhat snug on me and the length was just to my ankles.

    I bought these for my daughter for her 13 birthday. She liked them but they didn't fit her. DCFS held them so long, her birthday was May 10 but she didn't get to see them until July. Then Amazon return policy is void. She gave them to me. They faded despite my OCD laundering techniques so they are not crisp black but a dark gray. They have been wash 3 times and lost color even using cold water, hand washes and laundry detergent for dark colors.
    We don't have much money.
    SSI disability is only $943.00 and it doesn't go up when you have a child that came because of a brutal attack.
    I should have more financial support for her but I don't the way the government is set up they pay her child support and it is only $383.00. before 2023 it was only $288.00 her entire life. So the price was higher for me than most people and to spend that amount for one pair of pants that didn't last longer than a month isn't something I can do ever and it's extremely hard to purchase her birthday gifts, but I got them for her for her birthday and after she finally received them from CPS, it was passed the return date and there was nothing I can do about that. Can't make returns on things that were held up in DCFS custody and never given to her to try on until well after the return date had passed. Same thing happened with the boots I got her, they didn't fit and was passed the return date. Her shirt fit, the mushroom charms she likes and the black gloves with bones wear fingers are fit. That is all she for from me for her 13 birthday. No pants or boots. I couldn't return them after DCFS held them so long without giving them to her for a fit check.
