    I didn't want a boot with a high chunky heel. These fit the bill perfectly. I wear a 7.5 and that was what I ordered. These are spot on for sizing. Now, to address the other reviews about the elastic not being the same in the picture. Have you ever went out to eat and the picture of the meal isn't 'exactly' what you end up with? Do you send your meal back because your hamburger was kind of squashed? No. Same with these boots. The elastic shouldn't be a deal breaker with these boots.

    Some people might want to put in an insert but I haven't needed to. I liked these so much that I bought the same boot in black. Can't beat them for the price. I have seen boots like these in outlet stores for around $20 more.
