Are you really saving that much?
I've been buying Amazon Presto Brand on subscribe and save for more than 4 years now. I do like the product. I would compare it to Kirkland brand from Costco. This is the first time Amazon had been out of stock on them and I chose a backup of Sparkle. Amazon Presto brand comes in 12 packs and Sparkle comes in 24 packs. I did the math to try to figure out what was the best deal for your money. But I think it comes down to personal preference. For me I don't enjoy changing out my paper towels so frequently because the rolls are so small on the Sparkle brand. Not only are the rolls small, but they're very loosely rolled. When I have mine on the paper towel holder over my sink, which is an industrial style pipe, that stands upright, the sparkle towels come loose from the tube and the tube sits up higher and the paper towels which fall downward on the holder. Also the Sparkle towels are stiffer and thinner. I'm including photographs which sow the line of the wood on my cutting board beneath each towel, the Sparkle is clearly thinner even though both say they're 2 ply. I feel like the absorbency isn't quite as good as the Amazon brand. Sparkles stiffness may make it durable, it's not more durable than Amazon Presto, if anything it makes it more inclined to rip id think. Below is a breakdown of the measurements of the towels and the price break down based on the dates that I purchased them. Hope this helps you decide which is the best and easiest for you to use. For me, I think I will stick with Amazon Presto brand. Also the Sparkle brand comes in a huge box for the 24 rolls. I usually buy two boxes of Amazon Presto brand and even though I'm buying the same amount, the 2 individual boxes are smaller and not quite as big together as the one box of Sparkle. They're easier to store on a shelf in the garage in 2 smaller boxes. The fact is, I feel like I'll just use more of the Sparkle and won't really save money due to the thinness. They are a good back up, but I'll stick with Amazon Presto Brand.
