I’m new to using an egg timer, and after using this product once, I would never boil an egg without it. I tend to over boil and this product makes the yolk absolutely perfect. Not to mention, after the eggs were brought to a boil the shell was easily peeled from the surface! I can’t imagine how great this will be for deviled eggs!
The brochure was super easy to read and gave me a step by step guide on how to properly time and measure the perfect egg. The icons on the product are simple, readable and functional.
The product itself is super cute - anyone who loves a beautifully simple designed product will LOVE this. I love the yellow detail and how it mimics an egg yolk. It also looks adorable on your counter!
I noticed other reviewers giving negative feedback on how to properly measure and whites bleeding out.
The measuring aspect couldn’t be more simple if it tried. First off, your carton will tell you your egg size - not a problem. Secondly, unless you are literally applying a crazy amount of force and cracking your egg on the pin you’ll be just fine with puncturing it to perfection ( details are provided in the brochure).
I’ve used this product multiple times and have yet to experience a bleed out from the egg.
This product is revolutionary, I can boil different size eggs and still achieve perfection. Thanks OXO for providing yet another life-changing product!
