Take it from me… just get the dang AirTag.
Let me tell you—this little thing could’ve saved me so much money, stress, and chaos. I just got back from a girls trip for my friend’s birthday, and it ended in disaster. We were out having fun at a comedy club (ironically, nothing was funny after this), and I lost my wallet. Full-on gone. I missed my flight, had to book another one that landed an hour from where I was supposed to be, got in at 1am, and took a $300 Uber just to make it to work the next day—because I was starting a new project. TSA let me through after asking a bunch of questions, but my entire life was in that wallet. I had to replace everything—my ID, cards, even birthday gift cards. Filed a police report, signed up for credit monitoring, went back to the place multiple times before flying home. Still nothing. And guess what? The wallet’s still in another state. If I had an AirTag in there, this all could’ve been avoided. So trust me: get the AirTag. Put it in your wallet, purse, whatever. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about your safety and your peace of mind. Learn from me before it happens to you.

Only thing is that it notifies any user close enough that they’re being tracked. Sometimes annoying when I have it in my car and it pings my passengers they’re being “followed/tracked” by an Apple Tag. Otherwise a super helpful tool.

    Have several Apple AirTags in use and tied to my iPhone. They work well. For example, I have them attached to my elderly parents’ keys, wallet/purse to help them locate those items when they’ve been “misplaced”. The AirTags have been a lifesaver in these situations and have really helped in cutting back on my parents’ anxiety over misplaced items. You can also share the item’s AirTag location with other family members so they can assist in finding the lost item. Very helpful.

    Recently I used AirTags in our luggage on a trip overseas. It was nice being able to keep track of the luggage during transit as well as when it was at the Airbnb. I was told that you can give temporary permission to the airline in order to find your luggage more quickly if they lose it. Probably not a bad function to have if necessary.

    The accuracy of the AirTag location seems to be pretty good and they all easily paired to my Apple devices. Now I just go into the “Find My” app on the iPhone or iPad and they show up in the tracked items. You can also remotely trigger the AirTag to play a tone in order to make it easier to locate the misplaced item. Another nice feature.

    Overall, I’m happy with this product. I think they’re a bit overpriced, as are most Apple products, but they’re still a good purchase for my use. I’d recommend waiting until they go on sale and buying more than one. You’ll probably end up using them more than you think.
