Exactly as pictured and described on the website. Don't know how the mineral composition works but it does quickly absorbing and evaporating excess water. The design is simple but elegant. Ordered this with the intention of adding my own racks and I couldn't be happier (racks, cutting boards, glasses and dishes are my own.) Excellent value at list price and even better with the coupon currently available on the Amazon website. Highly recommended.

    It’s a mat but I’m not sure if I would call it a drying mat
    The size that I ordered, I planned on putting under my toaster oven but I didn’t feel comfortable putting it under it. It says that it can tolerate high heat and it is quite large for me to use as a drying mat

    I only have positive things to say about this mat! We have a 100 year proceeding farm sink with a drying rack that is too slippery and nothing seems to stay on it but for this mat!!! I was able to cut it down to fit perfectly and the mat seems to no show any water after it has beaded and dried. Nothing slips on it and things finally feel secure!!

    Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport.

    I would recommend this product at the price point of $20-30

    I received this product for review. I was not paid for my opinion, I have not been contacted by the seller, and my opinion is my own honest opinion for better or worse. The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself. I also still have to pay taxes, actually use the product, and spend time writing this. I borrowed this initial format from another vine program reviewer, but did not get his name so whomever you are, thank you!!! My impression overall of the vine program as since the sellers know we are free to leave our honest opinion, they believe in their products before putting them into the program!! I say this because I have appreciated the quality of products I have received and the few that I had problems with, I think could be better with minor corrections.

    We normally use two smaller drying mats because one is not enough in most cases. I saw the 18” X 32” size of this one and ordered it because it was almost the size of the two that we were using. When I took it out of the box and set it on the countertop I thought it looked like a giant mouse pad and figured it wouldn’t work out. My wife took one look at it and said no way. While we were looking at it I took a handful of water and poured it on the mat. Well all the water disappeared instantly and we were shocked. I picked up the mat figuring that it leaked through and the water was on the countertop but no, the countertop was dry. Where the heck did the water go? I put my hand on the mat and it was dry to the touch and the mat did not move at all. We must have looked like two monkeys trying to figure it out. I don’t usually want to wash dirty pots, pans, etcetera but I had to just to see how much water it would hold before it started running onto the countertop. It didn’t leak a drop. I don’t know what type of witchcraft was used to make this mat but it sure does work and looks great too!
