    REVISION: perhaps I missed a review or warning or instructions about washing this hat. Do not put it in the washing machine even on gentle even turned inside out. The beautiful, knitting, snags, pulls, and pills. Perhaps if you put it in a fine mesh bag, it can tolerate the delicate cycle. I have yet to try that because I do love this hat. However, somehow it ended up on the floor of my car and I needed to wash it. 😕
