If you want a non-fussy way to dress up a special event these are softer and prettier than stiff ONE-TIME USE solid paper napkins. However...they are TISSUE-PAPER THIN and very easy to snag/put a fingernail through. Just buy extra and be prepared to WASH BY HAND if you actually plan to reuse.
