The upright poles that hold the whole thing up are very thin walled, constructed with weak pot-metal. Hence the threads they connect with are very shallow/hardly engage with the silver connecting pieces. I am a professional mechanic as well as fabricator/builder and have piles of experience with threaded objects. When the thread strip upon application of 2 finger to turn it when the piece isn't bottomed out yet there is a problem. Apart from that. Ever after making the poles as uniform and straight as possible. Immediately after construction every basket attached to the right side pole had a bad list/lean. When loading the top left basket with a 2.0 lbs pound of cuties mandarin oranges. That basket leaned far enough to touch the right side pole making it hard to open and just look poor even from a distance. Overal immensely poor quality and could easily be produced at a higher standard. I would not ever recommend for this to be bought. Beyond that the instructions are extremely lackluster. The product is disappointing from top to bottom, start to finish.

I loved this product for its design and was excited to assemble it…sounds great so far but…..read own …my disappointment came somewhere near the final steps as the threaded internal section was found to be only “lightly” machined…as I screwed the connection between the base container to the next level, it stripped…by not being able to snug them together, the unit was wobbly….I wanted this unit so badly, I tried plumber’s Teflon tape to remedy this shortcoming…no dice…as I disassembled the unit, other connections became loose also from bad machining…too bad….nice unit if it was made a little more solid …returned due to these defects
