    I love toys that I can give my kids while I'm making dinner that will occupy them and then be easy to quickly clean up and put away when the food is ready. These are excellent for that purpose. Both of my children, aged 3 (girl) and 11 (boy) enjoyed building with these blocks. My only complaint is the quantity - there's a good amount for one kid, but not really for two. So, if considering this as a gift (for which it would be awesome) I'd suggest one box per kid. They enjoy building and then pretending to be Mario and having to rescue the Princess. The variety of shapes leaves the possibilities open for a different creation every time. Both of my kids are creatively destructive - in that if there's a way to peel a label or sticker off a toy, they find it. They aren't setting out to damage their toys, but curiosity often gets the better of them - these blocks have withstood the test - they have been actively played with for over a week and there is zero signs of damage. The blocks are well made. The magnets are strong enough that they can build things and not become frustrated. The colors are bright and the characters are easily recognizable. Kudos to the maker, Yumiga, for including a bag. When dinner is ready the blocks are easily collected into the bag where they'll wait for the next play session. Overall, a super cool and smartly designed set of blocks that keeps little fingers and minds engaged and happy. Mom approved! A+

      The magnetic blocks have a pretty decent magnets and hold together well. I haven't noticed any de-lamination or issue with the graphic stickers, so far they seem sturdy enough and hold up to play well.
      The theme is quite fitting since 8 bit graphics are known for their blocky pixelated nature. The blocks were a little smaller then I was expecting, however these are a good size for 5 year old hands, he's just getting into legos and building blocks and its good to have these for his creative activities. Since the magnets actually work pretty well he has a lot of fun building these into scenarios.
