I ordered this adapter, and it fits perfectly for my Dewalt tools and my shop vac. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one a day later. When the second one arrived, it was misshapen and out of tolerance. It wouldn't fit either of my tools or my shop vac. The seller is sending a replacement right away. Stay tuned for my update.

Well, the second replacement arrived. It, too, was deformed and slightly out of tolerance. It was better than the second one, but it still didn't fit either of my tools or vacuum. I'm not ordering a fourth one. The seller was very diligent about responding to my concerns.

The adapter fits onto the tool nicely, but the Festool hose end does not. It is pretty lose and can pop off the adapter easily so you have to continually keep pressure at the connection point or it comes out. The instructions say to twist it and you can feel where it does engage, but, because the fit is so lose it doesn't take much for the hose end to pop off. And, it is too expensive for that poor of a fit.
