Yes it is sharper than glass but I don't see how it could cut you. Also, said not dishwasher safe but my wife accidentally put in dishwasher and no problem so I would say they ARE dishwasher safe. Great value and would recommend!

They look like glass but are strong enough plastic not to crush when gripped. They are a pretty shape and the gold rim adds a festive touch. No worries about broken glass or cleanup. (You can toss them in the recycle bin, but we decided that they were nice enough to reuse -- they washed up very nicely with no water spots.) I highly recommend them for a casual party.
