Cute hair clips
This is a very cute set of hair clips especially for spring or summer updos or maternity shots. You get 18 clips six of them are small little pink flowers and the rest are chiffon butterfly wings glued onto a gold filigree butterfly clip.The butterflies are left and right sided and you get one of each color which is perfect for symmetrical looks. The alligator clips are easy to work with and hold well in the hair.The alligator clips on the small flowers are itty bitty and a little bit a difficult to work with but they hide in the hair really well and hold fairly securely.Some of the clips came with glue strings, rhinestones falling off, for the chiffon butterfly wings bent. I was able to glue the rhinestones back on and straighten the wings using a flat iron.Overall I think this is a really cute set of clips and a decent value for the money. But be prepared to do a little DIY to maintain your hair clips especially after a night of wearing them.

These are really pretty! They slid into my hair easily. They didn’t pull or snag going in. It did pull a little when I took it out because some of my hair went over the clip (user error). The flower looks like a silk flower from a craft store. It didn’t pull my hair going in or out. They both were really light. I couldn’t feel a thing. I like that they come in a clear plastic jar with a screw on top.
A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies for Where Ever!

The glue work is neat. There are some glue strings, but not many (see photo). The flowers have glue blobs under them, but I think they needed a big blob of glue to keep them on. The alligator clips on the flowers are silver tone and 3/4” long with a functional length of about a 1/2”. The alligator clips on the butterflies are gold tone and 1-1/2” long with a functional length of 1-1/8”. The butterflies’ wings are made of an organza kind of material and lightly heat sealed. There’s two layers of this for each butterfly. The butterfly clips are in pairs where one opens to the left and the other clip opens to the right.

While the idea for these is fun -- especially for young girls, the actual product is poor quality. They come packed in a plastic jar and several of the small flower blossoms were bent (and could not be bent back). My main objection, however, is the quality of the clips -- very poor. They do not hold in the hair well at all. We tried several in my young niece's hair and all fell out within 10 minutes of play. I tried one in my thicker hair and it also slipped out within a few minutes of walking around.
Although the colors and designs are cute, these just do not work. Can't recommend.
