This was one of NY Times top beanie picks, and I'm very pleased: it's like a warm, cozy hug for your noggin. Perfect for Seattle's unpredictable weather, where it can be sunny one moment and pouring the next. Perfect, indeed, as an indoor hat, which is how I'm enjoying it this morning. But here's the surprise twist: I chose the golden yellow color (bold and gorgeous). And let me just say, bees are obsessed. I'm pretty sure they think I'm a giant, walking sunflower. Or maybe they're just really into fashion. Either way, it's a bit of an adventure every time I wear it. If you're looking for a hat that's both simple and comfy, I highly recommend this one. Say "hi" to my friends the honeybees.

    I bought this beanie as a gift for my partner. I chose the gold because it appeared to be a bright yellow, which is my partner's favorite color.     I bought this beanie as a gift for my partner. I chose the gold because it appeared to be a bright yellow, which is my partner's favorite color. The color is not what I was hoping for as it leans more towards an orange-ish color. I took a photo of it on top of my bed spread/sheets since I have a bright yellow bed spread and an almost burnt orange bed sheet. The color of the beanie is somewhere in the middle of those. Although it is not the bright yellow I was expecting, I don't think I'll be returning or exchanging since I'm actually starting to like the color (it's still beautiful and vibrant).
