for use around our home and property. I've had a big heavy gas chain saw for years, but now in my senior years and finally got rid of it as it was just to much for me to start and handle. Many of my big oak tree's are now gone. Recently while shopping online for some lawn and garden supplies for our landscape, I saw this small (6") chain saw run by battery, "no gas". After reading about how it is made and designed, and that it's lightweight, I ordered it. This was a good move for me as this is exactly all I needed. I only have mostly smaller tree's left to trim at times and some larger bushes, fruit tree's, and scrubs. I like the weight of this little saw and also like that it's battery operated. It came with (2) batteries and charger, gloves and chain, ready to use. It works good on small limbs and trimming my fruit tree's. It's not for "big oak tree's" applications. It even came with a small bottle of oil for the chain.
I like that the extra back up battery lets me keep trimming until I'm finished. Satisfied with order

I’ve had a similar-type hand-held cordless chainsaw for about a year and it has been a game-changer for maintaining our rural property. I’m frequently having to deal with cutting up branches and saplings in the 2-4” diameter range. I need to immobilize them securely to be able to cut them with a standard two-handed chainsaw, but they tend to be crooked and too thin to do this. With these one-handed saws I can stabilize the wood with my left hand while cutting it with my right. Although that might seem intuitively unsafe, the improvement in control makes me feel safer.

I had another-brand saw that I used often, but I needed to replace it. This particular kit has improvements over my previous saw: The chain/bar is longer, and I was able to cut through a 5” oak log. It comes with two batteries. It has a replacement chain. As is usual with this type of saw, it comes with a small bottle of chain oil, and tools to adjust the tension of the chain as it loosens with use. It has a handy carrying case which keeps everything together while at home, and keeps you from losing that small maintenance stuff in the woods. I am happy with it.

After using the chainsaw less than 6 times when I released the trigger the trigger moves to the off position but the chainsaw keeps running. In order to turn the chainsaw off it is necessary to remove the battery with the chain spinning(not very safe). Multiple tries of pressing the button and squeezing the trigger with the battery in and chain running, multiple tries of pressing the button and squeezing the trigger with the battery out, noting works, putting the battery in the chain starts running, only way to stop the chain is to remove the battery.
I am emailing the vendor's support at: transmart.service1@outlook.com
I will update the review with what the vendor says.
The Mini Chainsaw Cordless, 6 Inch Handheld Electric Power Chain Saw With 2 Batteries is a nice small portable saw for trimming branches and other small cutting projects. It comes with a nice storage case that holds the saw and all the accessories. Using the saw for the first time for just a couple of minutes the blade had to be readjusted and on the second time. Manual oiling needs to be done each time you use the chainsaw. Charging the batteries is easy, plug the pin into the power supply and plug the charger into the wall, goes from a red indicator to green when fully charged. Locating the plug in port on the power supply is easy the second time you charge them. Two power supplies provides a backup for the small jobs. It would be nice if the power supplies had power level LEDs but with this chainsaw this is what you get.
I would order again.

I'm not sure how many RPMs (rotations per minute) that the chain rotates, but it gets the job done for about 60 plus minutes of battery operating time using both batteries. That quality of the parts and plastic housing is standard and better than you might expect at this price point, but the extra battery and chains makes this an excellent buy for those quick trimming jobs.

I will say that I like that the charging cable connects directly to the battery and eliminates the use of a battery charger base unit. The only draw back to this is that you can only charge one battery at a time.
